The Restoration
After being neglected and allowed to fall into disrepair for almost a quarter of a century, the Pavilion was acquired in 1995 by the Scottish Historic Buildings Trust (SHBT), who put together a plan for its restoration, rallied local and other support, raised the necessary funds and masterminded the reconstruction process.
The architectural work was carried out by LDN Architects and the main contractor was R J McLeod.

On behalf of everyone involved with the Pavilion, including all who are enjoying the many events and functions held here, grateful thanks to SHBT and to the following, who made financial contributions towards the restoration of the building:
Heritage Lottery Fund

Historic Scotland
European Regional Development Fund
Highlands and Islands Enterprise
The Highland Council
Landfill Tax Credit Scheme
Geraldine Kirkpatrick Trust
Garfield Weston Foundation
Dunard Trust

Individuals who gave to the public appeal
