It was the Pavilion's 130th birthday in 2011! Can YOUR business help Strathpeffer Pavilion to celebrate over 130 years of serving the community? We can give you and your staff something in return - click here for details.
The Pavilion team is delighted to welcome the first members of Strathpeffer Pavilion Business 130:
MacGregor Industrial Supplies Ltd.
In August 2011, it was 130 years since the Pavilion first opened its doors to the public and began to fulfill the Brahan Seer's prophecy that "health and pleasure seekers will throng its portals". Starting as a social centre for wealthy Victorians visiting Strathpeffer Spa to "take the waters", the Pavilion has since served the community in many ways, becoming a US Naval hospital in World War I, and later being used for children's concerts and by the local operatic society. In 1960, it was refurbished by Highland Lass Estates and became a venue for week-night Highland cabarets and weekend dances that were famed throughout the north of Scotland.
Sadly, the Pavilion fell into disuse and disrepair at the end of last century, before being acquired in 1995 by the Scottish Historic Buildings Trust and lovingly restored to its former glory. Since re-opening in 2004, it has been run as a registered charity (SC028241) and social enterprise, working to keep this iconic building living, breathing and serving the community.

We hope you agree that the restored Pavilion is a great asset to the local economy, not only of Strathpeffer but also of Ross-shire and beyond. This was confirmed by a social and economic impact study commissioned by HIE - click here if you would like to download a copy of the assessment.
If you are unable to open the Business 130 information, please email us and we will be happy to post a copy to you. And please don't hesitate to ring us on 01997 420124 if you would like to discuss Business 130.
