a seated event - we got the message
that most of Donnie's fans would prefer that
and so we've bowed to public pressure.

7.30 pm Esther’s Ceilidh for the
Highland Hospice. Selwyn Roberts, who
organises the wonderful Hogmanay events
at the Pavilion, is putting together
a great evening of dancing and entertainment,
featuring ceilidh bands with musicians from
Aberdeen and Inverness, plus Gaelic singing
by Eilidh Mackenzie, clarsach by Anne & Karen
Ward, Hielan’ Toe step dancers and blues by
Bluebelly.  Plus it’s for a very good cause and
includes a buffet supper!  Tickets £15 for adults,

Thur 23 8 pm  The Alexander Brothers - among
Scotland's best-known international
entertainers, who first played in the
Pavilion in 1978 and have since performed all
over the world, including New York's Carnegie
Hall and the Sydney Opera House.  Tickets

Wed 29 8 pm "Rave On" - celebrating the music of the
great Buddy Holly, from “Blue Days” to
“True Love Ways”, with Marc Robinson and
the Counterfeit Crickets
.  It is 50 years 
since Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Richie
Valens left us - Marc Robinson will recreate a
night to prove that their music has not died -

Marc will be joined by Michael King, giving a
sensitive performance with his tribute to Billy Fury.

22 Oct 8 pm In The Flesh - by popular demand, we've re-
booked this outstanding Pink Floyd tribute band, who
stunned and delighted the Pavilion audience (and staff!)
when they made their triumphant and spectacular
Scottish debut here in February.

Oct 
A return visit by the Tutbury Band, an excellent wind
band from Staffordshire who are donating their time
to support the Pavilion and proved popular with our
audiences on their last visit 2 years ago.  With special
guests Strathpeffer & District Pipe Band on Sat 31st -
a combination not to be missed!
 
13 Nov  The Ross-shire Ball
 
14 Nov  8 pm  ABBA-Cadabra, the UK's best ABBA tribute band,
who entertained a full house at the Pavilion last year. 
Many people dressed up in ABBA gear and a really fun
night was had by all concerned.

Grateful thanks to June's Card Shop in Dingwall High Street for selling tickets for most events in the Pavilion.  Credit card purchases can be made on thebooth (see top of page) or by telephone to the Pavilion office 01997 420124. We now make a small charge of £1.50 per transaction for card bookings, to cover our bank fees and administrative costs.
